Dr. Anish Gupta is a Consultant in HPB and Liver Transplant Surgery at Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune – one of India’s most established transplant centres. A native of Jammu, he trained through some of the country’s leading surgical and transplant institutions before going on to gain international fellowship experience in the United Kingdom, and now returns to Jammu periodically to bring that expertise closer to home through a special OPD at SDDM Hospital®.

His practice centres on the full spectrum of liver, pancreatic and biliary disease – from chronic liver conditions such as cirrhosis and fatty liver disease to liver cancer, jaundice management, and both living-donor and cadaveric liver transplantation. He also has specific training in advanced robotic liver and biliary surgery, reflecting the shift toward minimally invasive approaches in complex HPB surgery.

Dr. Gupta’s SDDM OPD gives patients in Jammu & Kashmir access to specialist liver and transplant consultation without travelling to Pune or Delhi for an initial evaluation – particularly valuable for patients navigating early-stage liver disease, cirrhosis management, or exploring transplant options.
